PayPal refers to recurring billing arrangements as automatic payments, also known as subscriptions or billing agreements. These allow a merchant to charge you automatically without needing to sign in again.
If you purchased your subscription via the sharp10 website using PayPal, you can cancel it in under a minute—independently of sharp10—by following these steps:
1. Cancellation via Web Browser
Follow these steps on the PayPal website:
1. Log in to your PayPal account at paypal.com.
2. Go to Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner.
3. Select the Payments tab in your account options.
4. Click on Manage automatic payments (or Subscriptions and Saved Businesses). A list of merchants will appear on the left.
5. Locate and click on sharp10.
6. At the top of the details page, click Cancel.
7. Confirm by selecting Cancel Automatic Payments (or equivalent confirmation text).
8. Finally, click Done. The subscription status will update to Inactive, and no further payments will occur.
2. Cancellation via PayPal Mobile App
If you prefer using the PayPal mobile app, take the following steps:
1. Open the app and go to Settings or Wallet.
2. Tap Manage AutoPay or Automatic Payments.
3. Select the merchant (sharp10).
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Remove PayPal as your payment method, or Cancel—this depends on your app version.
5. Confirm the cancellation when prompted. After completion, your status will change to Inactive.
Notes to Keep in Mind
Cancelling automatic payments does not issue a refund for payments already processed; it only stops future charges.
If the subscription does not appear, verify you are signed in with the correct email address.
